Murph and I (Kara) just finished up our respective years of service; Meagan with LVC (one year) and me with AmeriCorps (second year). Within the past years we've had our fare share of stumbles and triumphs. While trying to figure out our next steps we decided it was the perfect time to hit the open road for some much needed reflection and fun in the sun (fingers crossed). After months of discussion, we decided to journey across the country making pitstops all the way to California! For the next two weeks we will be blogging about our experiences and would love for you to follow along for the ride (pun intended). We arrived in Springfield, Missouri this evening and have our eyes on Rio Rancho, New Mexico tomorrow! Things to look forward to if you follow our blog: 1) Silly photos, 2) Stories unfiltered for your enjoyment, and 3) Thoughtful reflections. We've already learned (only after 8 hours in the car and our first Air BnB), that Murph finds herself to be funnier than anyone she knows and Kara can't hold a tune.
